SFMTA members won four of the ten classes available to them. The British Pie Awards also judged the Best Melton Mowbray Pie and the Best Cornish Pastie. Obviously these titles could not be won by someone outside those geographical areas but the Scots had a resounding success. 2009 Best Savoury Pie in Britain: to be eaten hot - Champion is AJ Learmonth, Jedburgh.
